By the time I woke up this morning, breakfast was at the front door...I just think this is soooo cool :) And Tandoori, our rooster....he's not nearly as grumpy as he looks :)   ~ Sherri  

We have our first eggs, compliments of Pot Pie and Dumpling! Although I must admit, it was a little weird making an omelet, after seeing where the eggs actually come from :) Organic, free range & delicious!   ~ Sherri  

If you want to attract Black Swallowtail Butterflies to your garden, just plant a little fennel (or dill) ~ I scattered a few seeds in my wild butterfly garden along with the Zinnias and Cosmos and now I have tons of little baby caterpillars munching away! When they become butterflies, they will sip the nectar from the flowers and lay their eggs on the fennel to start the life cycle all over again... Happy gardening! ~ Sherri

We affectionately refer to our goats, as "the girls" ~ They love hanging out with us and "helping" with whatever is going on ~ Today, while I was gardening, Vivian discovered the sprinkler...I thought that I would die laughing! :)    ~ Sherri
