Authentic Indian Food at Home

I've always been afraid to try to make Indian food at home ~ I have several Indian cookbooks, and the gorgeous pictures make my mouth water, but then I look at the long list of special ingredients and prep time and sadly close the book...

But that was before I discovered Maya Kaimal Indian Sauces...Not only are they absolutely bursting with flavor { seriously }, but they make prep and cooking time quick & easy and cleanup is a snap!

Our team tried the Madras Curry Indian Simmer Sauce ~ We simply sauteed cubed chicken, poured in the sauce, simmered for a few minutes and served over basmati rice ~ Total prep and cooking time was less than 30 minutes and the flavor was amazing...Everyone on our team absolutely loved it...Not too spicy...Just enough kick to be interesting :)

We also snacked on the Sweet Chili Chickpea Chips and all agreed it was, hands down, one of the best chips we had tasted...the evidence was the empty bag at the end of the day! And, hey, in my mind, it was guilt free chip munching since chickpeas are loaded with protein, fiber and are all around good for you...right?? :)

In addition to having such yummy products, Maya Kaimal is an award winning author. Her book Curried Favors: Family Recipes from South India won the Julia Child Award for best first book.
